As we Know that Indian Constitution Provides Fundamental Rights for education to every child from age group 6 to 14 Years. Considering this Indian government introduced the Right to Education act 2009 to provide Quality and free education to every child between 6 years and 14 years of Country. Following This, Assam Government has launched various Initiatives to Ensure Proper elementary Education in the State. Today we are going to Talk about Assam Gunotsav 2025, which is A very unique Initiative launched by the Assam Government to Ensure quality elementary education with improved learning outcomes. What is the Assam Gunotsav 2025?

The Assam Government launched various Initiatives to ensure quality education in the State but Gunotsav became a very popular initiative in the previous year. This Initiative was launched to enhance the education system by Evaluating the knowledge of Children from every School in every District of Assam. The Assam Gunotsav 2025 will Enhance the learning of students through timely regular feedback and support and bring about improved learning outcomes. This Popular initiative will held From 06 January 2025 to 04 February 2025 in three phases, Each Phase will have Certain Districts.

Objectives of Gunotsav Assam 2025

• To Ensure quality elementary education with improved learning outcomes.
• To create a spirit of a high priority to quality education among all Students And Schools. 
• Ministers, IAS,IPS, IFS officers, and Class–I & II officers will visit schools and take part in the process of evaluation to Encourage Students.
• To curb Learning Gaps among Students.
• To reduce common errors, misconceptions, strong & weak competencies among Children.

Assam Gunotsav 2025 Schedule

This year Assam Gunotsav 2025 will be Organized in three Phases from 06 January to 04 February. Over 88,525 Schools and 42,76,881 Students from class I to IX will be covered in this Program. Phase 1 will Start from 04 January to 06 January 2025 Covering 12 Districts, Phase 2 will Start from 10 January to 12 January Covering 13 Districts and Phase 3 will be Organized from 06 February to 08 February Covering 10 Districts.

Gunotsav 2025 Guidelines

• There will be two types of Evaluation take Place 1. Self Evaluation 2. External Evaluation.
• Marking system will be based on 90% for scholastic, 5% for co-Scholastic and 5% for Community Participation.
• Coverage of 42,76,881 Students from Class I to IX.
• Gunotsav 2025 Question Paper is set or prepared for analysing the Educational Strength, to improve the Education and identifying Learning Gaps.
