What is Assam Labour Card 2025?
Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma has started the Assam Labour Card Registration to provide them benefits of the Welfare Scheme that has been run by the Assam Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board. Assam Labour Card enables Construction Workers and Labours to get access to Welfare like Education, Accident Coverage, insurance, Housing and Health.
Those workers who are aged between 18 years and 55 years can register themselves on Nirman Sakhi Portal to get Access to Assam labour card. There are More than 7 Lakh Workers are working in the State, Through the Assam labour Card they will be able to Get Benefits of Welfare Schemes like Marriage assistance, Maternity assistance, Death benefits, Skill training, Medical assistance, Educational assistance.

Assam Labour Card Apply Online Eligibility Criteria
- Age of Workers should be between 18 years and 55 years.
- Workers should not be a member of any other Welfare fund.
- Workers shall have Construction work experience of 90 days.
- Applicants must hold an Aadhar Card with a mobile number linked with the card for digital KYC.
- Other State Workers should be Registered with Nirman Sakhi Portal in order to receive Labour Card Assam.
- e-Shram Card Registration is must for the Labour Card Apply Online Assam.

Labour Card Apply Online Assam Process
- Visit the Official Website of the Nirman Sakhi Portal.
- Click on the New Registration Button given on the Homepage.
- Enter Your Mobile Number and Select Labour office and Click on Submit Button.
- Now enter your Aadhar Card and Get Verified by the OTP received on Registered Mobile Number.
- Now Enter Your Family Details and Bank Details.
- Enter Your Personal Details Like Date of Birth, Bank Details, Address and e-Shram Card.
- You will have to provide the Details of the Nominee and their Age.
- After Successful filling of the form, you will have to Submit your application.
- After Successful Verification of the Application Form you will get your registration Number.
- Then you may print your Assam Labour Card from Nearest Cafe.
- This card Will be Valid for 2 years and after that you will have to Renew your card with the same process.
